Connection
is the point.
We're not building The Group Chat to keep people on another screen. We're building it to help people spend more time together, creating experiences and memories that extend beyond the conversation.
WHO WE ARE
We're not building The Group Chat to keep people on another screen. We're building it to help people spend more time together, creating experiences and memories that extend beyond the conversation.
The conversation, the ideas, the decisions: those belong to the people having them. Technology should make collaboration easier without taking away the parts that make planning together meaningful.
Different people bring different perspectives, preferences, and ways of participating. Belonging doesn't require speaking up, agreeing, or participating in every decision.
GC is in the chat, not above it. It's there to support the conversation, not direct it or replace the relationships that make it meaningful.
WHY WE'RE BUILDING IT
There's something wonderful about making plans together. The ideas, the possibilities, the back-and-forth of figuring out what everyone wants to do.
We don't want to replace any of that.
We want to make it easier to hold onto the details, keep things moving, and turn those conversations into experiences worth sharing.

Founder, The Group Chat
My background spans aviation and technology, two fields where bringing people, information, and moving parts together matters.
I've spent my career thinking about how complex systems work, how people interact with them, and how to make those experiences better.
The Group Chat brings that perspective to something much more personal: making it easier for people to spend time together.
demituck.comWhether you're interested in collaborating, sharing ideas, or helping shape what we're building, I'd love to connect.
